The V-Ring fits directly onto the shaft and seals axially against a counterface, such as shaft collar, thrust washer or bearing face. Its light lip pressure generates low friction. This type of seal has proved to be reliable and effective against dust, dirt, water, oil splash and other media.

VA - Perpendicular backface
VS - Woder angled body ensures higher radial force than the VA type
VL - Used where space is at a premium (they are not as high)
