Finishing Hand Tap

Finishing taps are also referred to as intermediate, or 2nd tap.

It has 3 to 5 taper lead threads, which will provide a tapped hole with a full diameter thread.

Generally used for through holes, this is the most commonly used tap, and can in many cases be used independently without the need for the Roughing or Bottoming tap.
