Descriptions

Withdrawal Sleeves.  Are used for secure bearings having a tapered bore on to cylindrical shaft seatings. They facilitate bearing mounting and dismounting and often simplify bearing arrangement design. Bearings on withddrawal sleeves must be mounted against a fixed abutment for example, a shaft shoulder. The withdrawal sleeve must be secured in position after it has been pressed into the bearing bore by a lock nut or end plate on the shaft.  The nuts required for dismounting are not supplied with the sleeves and must be ordered seperately.
