British Standard Sprockets Reverse Taper Lock

The Standard Design format of Taper Bush Sprocket, is for the Bush to be fitted from the boss side, and for most applications this does not create any major problem, however when the drive sprocket is required to fit directly onto a Motor or Gearbox that has only a limited shaft length or when access to the locking Screws is restricted to one side, then it can prove difficult to tighen the locking screws into place. Hence the need for the Bush to fit in from the Teeth side, commonly known as a Reverse Taper Bored Sprocket.
