TYRE ELEMENT ONLY. The DESCH Flex coupling combines all the advantages which can be expected of an ideal flexible coupling. Additionally it is suitable for taper bushes. The tyre with fabric inside is either made of natural rubber or of Neoprene in fireresistant, antistatic and oilresistant execution, short called FRAS-Execution. The FRAS-tyre is also used in duties with EXOperations according to the regulations 94/9/EG (ATEX).Tyres made of natural rubber are suitable for ambient temperatures between -50°C and +50°C. Tyres in FRAS-Execution are suitable for ambient temperatures between -15°C and +70°C
