RHP 2 Bolt SFT1 Casting 1217-5/8ECG Bearing

RHP 2 Bolt Oval cast iron Flange Casting. The casting will be marked SFT1, the bearing is a 1217/5/8G.

The shaft locking arrangement is a eccentric collar lock. This type of lock consists of an eccentric diameter formed on the extended inner ring of the bearings which engages a similarly formed eccentric diameter in the bore of a separate collar. Locking is achieved by turning the collar in the direction of shaft rotation until the eccentric diameters of both collar and inner ring are fully engaged

Lubrication - Self-lube bearings are factory charged with the correct amount of grease and do not require a further grease charge when fitted. Re-lubrication is not normally necessary except when operating at extremes of temperature, speed, loading, extended running or where excessive wet or diry conditions exist. The housings are provided with a tapped hole to facilitate relubrication and supplied with a grease nipple. All units are tapped 1/4" UNF. Note; a grease adapter (ref 1003G) which are available on our website to fit the 1/4" UNF tapped hole to give 1/8" BSP female fitting.
